The Market Goes On - RAIN OR SHINE!

Just a reminder that we are ON for tomorrow RAIN OR SHINE! There MIGHT be a passing shower later in the day Sunday, but those showers could also miss us too and we certainly won't let that spoil the fun.

We will only cancel is there is severe weather which would be dangerous for our vendors & customers, and that does not look to be the case tomorrow (if so, we'd post that announcement by 8 AM here and to the Facebook page)!

So, come on out and join the fun tomorrow - 10-5 PM - and don't forget to bring a food donation for the Ardmore food pantry to the Clover info tent and - JUST ADDED! - have your little ones stop by for facepainting next to booth #59.

See you tomorrow!!!

May 19, 2013 Vendors

The vendors are finalized and placed, and we're all gearing up for Sunday's Market, our second of the spring season.  100+ vendors with original art, antiques and collectibles, vintage clothing and jewelry, architectural salvage, and finely crafted handmade items.  10 AM to 5 PM, rain or shine at the parking lot at 12 E. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore, PA and all along Cricket Terrace - free admission, free kids crafts, delicious food onsite and more!

Do check out our FAQ's page before your visit for directions, maps of all of the parking lots in Ardmore (remember parking is free in all locations including our temporary lot at Ardmore Ave. and Lancaster Ave....just across from the McDonald's), and all of the important details to make your visit great.

We do have two special requests:

Please be considerate of our residential neighbors and be sure to not park in front of or otherwise block their driveways or block residential street access by doubleparking cars.  We have many available parking options within a few blocks of the Market that we hope you will use.

We hope you'll drop off a food donation for the Ardmore Food Pantry at the Clover info tent in space #63.  We will take donations of any size - every bit makes a difference to help fight hunger in our community which is a very real, but often hidden problem.  The most needed items right now are red spaghetti sauce, healthy breakfast or granola bars, healthy snacks like microwave popcorn and low sugar juice drinks like Crystal Light.  For a complete list of their ongoing food needs and for more information about the pantry itself, click here!

THANK YOU in advance and see you at the Market - happy hunting!!!

Clover Expands to Chestnut Hill

I'm so very pleased to announce that Clover will be expanding to Chestnut Hill this fall with our first Market scheduled for Sunday, 10/27 from 10 to 5 pm.   Beautiful and historic Chestnut Hill has always been one of my favorite places to wander, eat, and shop so this is truly a match made in heaven.

I am deeply appreciative of the support of the Chestnut Hill Business Improvement District and the Chestnut Hill Parking Authority to bring this to fruition, specifically to the hard work of Retail Recruiter Laurie Wightman and former Retail Recruiter (and now the force behind the relaunch of Market at the Fareway) Eileen Reilly who made the initial connection to start the process.  Thank you both for sharing this vision!

We'll be working out many of the details in the coming months, but I can share that the Market will have a prime location in the Highland Ave. parking lot (it's the teal colored lot shown in this map) and all along Highland Ave. itself all the way up to Germantown Ave.   This spot gives us wonderful visibility and access to the beautiful downtown shopping district.

Our first Market will also happen on a weekend where Halloween will be celebrated all around town, so we're looking forward to many fun tie-ins for the kids and four legged friends as well!

We expect to have approximately as many vendors as we do in Ardmore, and the application to participate in Chestnut Hill will be posted here to the website along with our other fall dates in the next few days.  As with our Ardmore location, we will have the same carefully selected group of vendors with antiques & collectibles, vintage clothing and jewelry, original art, and beautifully crafted handmade items.

This is the beginning of a wonderful partnership with Chestnut Hill and I'm looking forward to more Clover Markets there going forward.  Hope to see you there!

Clover Market April 2013 Images

Clover Market April 2013, a set on Flickr.

I am so very excited to be able to share the beauty of the April Market as captured by Carrie Hill Photography. This time I asked Carrie to come extra early and to focus on the many wonderful antique dealers that we have at Clover - their booths are typically quite crowded right away!  She certainly did not disappoint.  Click through for the full set of 160 beautiful, colorful, and inspiring images on Flickr.

Whew!  DONE!  Our spring vendors page has been updated with website/Etsy/Facebook links and dates that all 140 of our amazing spring vendors are confirmed to participate.  Do check it out - this is one incredibly talented group with a really nice mix of former and new vendors, too.

And don't forget to peruse the Pinterest page, too, for a great visual on all of the vendors and sign up for the mailing list using the handy signup form on the right hand side of this page so you can get our confirmed vendors with locations emailed to you just prior to each Market.  It's a great way to plan your shopping trip and be sure to hit all of your favorite vendors.

We'll be updating the Facebook page frequently in the coming weeks with previews of all of our new vendors, and will get those well-loved inventory sneak peeks up in the days prior to each Market.

See you there!
