April 25th Market Recap

Huge props to the core group of hearty sellers who braved the chilly and cloudy (but not rainy!) weather Sunday for our second market.  It's tough to be outside for 7+ hours on a day like that, so we REALLY appreciate everyone who came out to support us and to purchase from our sellers.  It makes a day like that totally worthwhile.  There were some great items to be found, so in case you missed it, here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Salvation Nation's vintage necklace tree

A few of the MANY goodies from Nannygoat

Acrylic painting by Claire Meyers

Vintage industrial coffee table from Olde Good Things

An original wicker chair with brand new cushions from Cottage

Sampling the amazing cookies from Andy B's  - coming to the May 8 opening day of the Bryn Mawr Farmers' Market.  I personally polished off a dozen of them by the end of the day.

Hand-painted tole trays at Kitsch-N-Kaboodle

I wish I had a place in my home for this beautiful black dresser

Market munchkins!

Super sweet garden ornaments

Lesley Haas' handmade paper art

Really interesting vintage double sided trolley sign from Cottage
Many tin ceiling tiles and mirrors from Olde Good Things

For the typography nuts - red letters from an old Texaco sign

Fun painted furniture from Nannygoat

This little one spent about half an hour in front of the mirror - so cute.

And the new Clover Market eco-friendly jute tote.  These were done by Justin Cohen of marketing strategy and promotions firm Mix Marketing in Ardmore.   LOVE THESE BAGS!

We will be back in action on May 9th.  Personally, I can't think of a better Mother's Day present than to bring (or free up) your special mom, aunt, sister, friend, daughter, or grandmother to come out to the Market for a fun day of shopping.  Maybe brunch in Ardmore before or after?  Perfection.
