Tomorrow marks the start of the second and final weekend of the Clover Market Popup at the Philly Home Show and to mark the occasion we are doing a MASSIVE giveaway.

Forget this crazy snow hysteria! We'll be warm and cozy inside the PA Convention Center from 10-9 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. Heck, you can take the train right to the Center and walk right across the street for some yummy treats at the Reading Terminal Market.

Happy December everyone!

Are you a collector, dealer, artist or crafter? If so you'll be so happy to hear that you can ignore the holiday cards, decorations, baking, list making, and present buying lunacy for a moment to get your applications in for the spring Clover Markets on April 15, May 6, and June 3.

Just click on the "Apply" tab above and you'll be taken right to the online application to participate. There's no fee to apply, and you can sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 events (or share a spot) if you'd like!

I'm expecting another terrific season after our sold out events in 2011 (even in our expanded space last fall1), so if you think you're interested I'd encourage you to get your applications in soon. We'll be taking them until 2/6, and then on a rolling basis, space permitting, after that.

Clover Market at the Home Show

I'm so excited to let you know that Clover Market will be at the Philly Home Show this Jan 14-15 and Jan 21 -22 (both weekends) with a carefully curated group of sellers.

Now you don't have to wait till our spring opening day on April 15 to shop from some of the amazing dealers and artisans from the Market. Can't think of a better way to beat the winter blues.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Christina Smith. I live in the Philly suburbs with my boyfriend and fellow creative adventurer. I recently received my BFA in printmaking from Tyler school of art, and have been printing ever since in my homemade studio.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find my hand printed cards, prints, and notebooks, as well as my hand sewn tea towels, zipper pouches and much more. My items will be intermingled with the wonderful antique finds of MeadowSweet Vintage.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Inspiration comes and goes at it likes, but more recently I have been inspired by vintage textiles and color palettes. I am also very inspired by the process of silkscreening itself, in the way that layers can be created and new colors can be made.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?

There is an antique store in my hometown which has room after room of antiques, but the basement is set up a bit like a 50's diner. That room is my favorite.

What possession do you most cherish?
The things I cherish most are the possessions that have a story of their own. One of these is a locket that my grandfather sent my grandmother while in the Navy in WWII, it hangs on a gold chain with another locket that holds tiny pictures of when they were young.

My name is Dana Marston and I'm the owner of Circa Dee. By day I have a corporate job and by night I scout vintage and blog about my finds. I have been collecting antiques since I was a kid. My passion for vintage, design and DIY have grown tremendously since then. I love to incorporate treasures from the past into a fresh, new functional home designs.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find personal accessories like the coveted vintage cowboy boots. But primarily I sell unique accent pieces that give the home a little extra flair like luggage, tool caddies, chalkboards, enamelware, industrial scales, etc. Anything that can be repurposed to work for today's lifestyle.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Everywhere. In the commercial stores and catalogs, I see "fauxtiques" all the time and people are buying them for double what the real thing costs at venues like Clover. But these stores help to set a trend in the vintage world which inspires me when sourcing my own goods to sell. I also find inspiration on other blogs, in design magazines & boutiques. There's a world of inspiration out there!

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
From city to country to coastal...I recently visited the Brooklyn Flea and found that to be a really fun shopping venue. I also enjoy antiquing in Adamstown and Cape May. I shop all over the tri-state area in search of great finds.

What possession do you most cherish?
My grandmother's French Provincial bedroom set that is currently in my guest bedroom. I have considered redoing it but I don't know that I ever will. I have a photo of her getting ready for her wedding at the very mirror that I now own.

Our new seller group is featured below and as you'll see, it's another very talented group of artisans and collectors. All told, we'll have 75 sellers and our largest group of food vendors ever. A perfect way to spend a fall Sunday.

My name is Carrie Cafiero, and I am the owner of Olive and Frida Designs. I have always loved costume jewelry, especially pieces that are unique and one-of-a-kind. I began to search for vintage pieces that I could incorporate with newer components. I have only been designing for about 8 months, but it has truly become an obsession. I absolutely love creating unique jewelry.

What will shoppers find in your tent?

Shoppers will find a variety of colorful, unique necklaces and earrings in my tent. All of my designs have vintage components, most of them made with a combination of all vintage items with a modern twist.

Where do you find your inspiration?

My inspiration comes directly from color and texture. From that I can create jewelry that is truly unique. Whether it’s a statement piece or a dainty piece, they can bring any outfit to life.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?

I love browsing different shops on Etsy to find all of my vintage items. There are so many unique, talented people creating and selling wonderful things.

What is your most cherished possession?

My most beloved possession-other than my animals-is a very old aquamarine filigree ring that was my grandmother’s. Any time I need a bit more confidence I wear it.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Lindsey Crissman, and I am a graphic designer at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I spend the day creating exhibition graphics and collateral materials to enhance and help visitors engage with amazing works of art. I spend my free time handcrafting adorable little creatures that bring smiles to families, friends, and loved ones. Both jobs allow me to explore my creativity, explore color and design theory, and share my craft with others.

What will shoppers find in your tent?

I make plush toys, hand puppets, holiday stockings and napsacks (sleeping bags) for toddlers. Each creation is an original combination of colors and patterns, giving each dog and cat its own unique personality. Each item has a pocket to hold treasures: the plush toys and handpuppets can hold small keepsakes (even teeth for the toothfairy?), the napsacks hold your little ones in one large snuggly pocket, and the stockings hold goodies from Santa. Each piece is also "signed" by a small heart that is a symbol of the care that was taken to make it and the love it holds when given as a gift. I can also take custom orders.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Growing up, my mom was always extremely crafty. She made my sister and I all sorts of homemade clothes, costumes, handpuppets, and more. I started sewing gifts for friends and family and loved it so much continued to grow and create new things.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?

Etsy is a great place to find unique creations. I also really love local farmers/flea markets.

What possession do you most cherish?

He is more like a family member, but I would say my dog, Reilly. Although, I still own and love the napsack that my grandmother gave me when I was a small girl, which served as my inspiration to start creating them myself.

New Seller Profile: Hinterland Vintage

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Deidre Wengen and I am a life-long vintage lover. My parents forced me to go on trips to antique stores when I was younger and I eventually grew to appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of pretty, old things. I gravitated towards clothing and accessories and eventually decided to open up Hinterland Vintage on Etsy two years ago. I love hunting for beautiful pieces and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that items I sell will be given a whole new life. I live in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia with my boyfriend and my beloved dog Berger.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
My tent will be stocked full of quality, wearable vintage fashions from the 1940s through the 1980s. There will be lots of gorgeous dresses, cozy sweaters and timeless separates. I make it a point to stock different sizes, so ladies of all shapes should be able to find something in my tent. You will also find an array of amazing vintage accessories including handbags, hats, shoes, belts, jewelry and a smattering of items for the home as well.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration in many different places, but I think that certain pieces I find give me that spark to keep doing this on a daily basis. Every item has a history and a story, and I often find myself imagining where a specific garment was worn or what kind of woman owned a piece before it came into my possession.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
Locally, I really enjoy visiting the Philadelphia Flea Markets because they always have exceptional vendors with really special finds. They also host special vintage and antique markets once in a while which are chock full of eye candy. Even if I don't have money to spend, I like to go and browse around. I also have a few haunts in Northeastern Pennsylvania (where I'm originally from) that I frequent every time I go to visit my family. And of course, I am constantly window shopping and buying on Etsy.

What possession do you most cherish?
If I had to pick one thing, I would choose a sterling silver vintage lion-head ring that my boyfriend bought me for my birthday one year. It's a really unique piece of jewelry and I wear it all the time.

My name is Anna Thompson and I am an artist working out of a sunny South Philadelphia studio. I have three wonderful kitties and a lovingly supportive fiance, Eli. I am an avid reader, Korean drama watcher, sea shell & rock collector with a love for all things well crafted and sentimental.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Hand fabricated sterling silver jewelry that incorporates vintage costume jewelry components and semi-precious stones. My goal for this fall is to showcase more one-of-a-kind rings & longer pendant necklaces.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Everywhere! From fashion magazines to a stranger's heirloom signet ring, dried out seed pods to turn of the century photographs. The materials I work with seem to write their own narrative and dictate how I will use them. It is during the process of making that I am the happiest, whether it's soldering a stubborn joint or chopping vegetables for a giant salad.

Our house...having moved constantly while growing up I never "claimed" my own space. It's wonderful being able to create a space where we can grow both as partners and artists. My name is Sally Hunsinger, and I am the owner of Shish Interiors. I have four amazing children and a wonderfully supportive husband. Design has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Even when I was little, I would lie awake at night decorating houses in my head. I am also a magazine junkie.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find new furniture made from salvaged lumber with primarily organic finishes; vintage furniture repurposed and refinished with wallpaper, paints and glazes; and antique and vintage accessories.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Dawn Boyer, and I am a voracious reader who became a librarian to feed my reading habit and an avid lover of jewelry who became a jewelry maker in order to always have something to wear. I started making jewelry in high school, and wanted to go to art school to study jewelry design, but my mother wanted me to have a career, so I went to college and majored in Russian instead!

What will shoppers find in your tent?
There will be lots of earrings, made of pearls in soft, pretty colors and vibrant, sparkly semi-precious gems. There will also be fidget necklaces - long chains with clusters of charms and gems as well as more extravagant necklace and bracelet designs. Also, keep an eye out for the alumna collections: my designs in school colors.

Where do you find your inspiration?
A lot of inspiration comes from a love of Indian and Asian art, along with episodes of Doctor Who and bridal magazines. Most of the time, the beads themselves will dictate the design. I carry a notebook with me to sketch ideas and keep pictures of anything that catches my fancy. Sitting on the floor with my beads spread out is like meditating, and I love browsing through rows of sparkly gems looking for materials to help me create designs.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
I love shopping and finding treasures! Some of my favorite places are SoHo, Portobello Road in London, the markets in Delhi and street vendors in Berkeley, CA.

What possession do you most cherish?
My first Coach handbag which I bought from my aunt for $20, my jewelry-making tools, my library card and my passport. (I have trouble picking just one).

Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Kristen Solecki and I am a freelance artist working outside of the Philadelphia area. All of my artwork is made traditionally, combining different types of mixed media such as traditional printmaking, drawing with ink, and paint. My work is often nostalgic and based off of small moments and stories translated through my own lens. I love photography, the ocean, and reading and I think all of those things are apparent in my work!

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find hand silkscreened apparel such as T-shirts, tote bags, and baby onesies. They will also find prints of original artwork, notecards, hand painted mirrors, as well as original artwork.

Where do you find in your inspiration?

Most of my inspiration comes from experiences and stories big and small. It can come from the simplest thing like buying a cup of coffee. That's what I love most about art.

My name is Chelsea Lawler and I’m a 24 year old graduate student living in Philadelphia. I attend school full time while creating jewelry late into the night, which usually consists of using power tools that are way too loud for my neighbors (sorry guys!). I have an obsession with textiles, vintage beads, & small details. I love the spring and autumn, rocks and minerals, reading, cats, sparkly items, meeting new people, thrifting, and laughing.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find a variety of unique creations! You'll see a lot of modern, simple, and classic pieces using basic gold and silver tones, but you'll also see funky, geometric pieces mixed with more natural pieces. I love to use a lot of rocks and minerals that I loved as a young girl, so they will definitely be making an appearance at my tent/ There will be plenty of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration in a variety of things. I love staring at fabrics swatches or old texts for pattern/color inspiration. I'm constantly being blown away by other makers, whether it be fellow jewelry designers or illustrators. I may create an entire piece of jewelry from a specific color I saw in an illustration or sometimes, it'll come from the texture of something I found in nature, which also inspires me!

I love to go thrifting and to flea markets for special treasures!

What possession do you most cherish?
I cherish the items that have been painstakingly handcrafted for me and special objects/photographs from my grandparents, many of whom I have never met.

On a Clover Sunday, the day begins before dawn in an a quiet, empty parking lot. Seller spots are carefully marked off in chalk, cones and barricades are set out, and I savor a last few minutes of calm before our sellers arrive to load in. This is how the parking lot looked at around 7 am that day:

Soon, the sun had come up and gifted us with a clear blue September sky and just a hint of crisp in the air. It was a beautiful backdrop and as our sellers carefully unpacked and set up their tents. There's always a palpable buzz of excitement during this time after so much careful planning and hard work. Sooner than we know it, it's opening time and the buyers arrive.

In these early hours, we unleashed the lovely Carrie Hill from Carrie Hill Photography to capture some of the amazing items for sale that day. I could go on and on about the creativity and talent on display, but instead, I'll let her beautiful images speak for themselves.

Our next fall Market on October 16th looks to be another blockbuster. We have over 70 individual sellers (10 of whom are participating for the first time), our largest Market to date. We will be filled to the brim in the Municipal Parking lot AND on Cricket Terrace (which will be closed to all traffic from S. Cricket Terrace east on Cricket all the way to Rittenhouse Place).

A big thank you to everyone who came out to join us for our fall opening day! The weather was perfect, the crowd was buzzing all day long, and there were lucky finds and amazing talent at each and every tent. I'm very proud of my sellers for the fantastic job they do each and every time, and thrilled that we've so successfully expanded during this last year. We love our fans and thank you for your support.

For vintage jewelry inspiration, I could spend years getting lost in antique malls or rummaging through your grandmother's junk jewelry drawers. Treasures abound! For home furnishings, I have become addicted to all those wonderful glossy home design magazines. From Architectural Digest to DIY books, they all pay homage to vintage furnishings and home accessories.

My antique engagement ring, set with one of my husband's grandmother's stones. And my great grandmother's reading chair, which has been reupholstered by every generation. Is a cat a possession? I love my cat.

Jill - Living abroad during my childhood, visiting flea markets in every imaginable city and watching my Mom paint and my Grandmothers create magic in the kitchen left a huge impression on me. My name is Megan Steer, and I'm a native of Wayne, Pennsylvania currently residing in New York. I initially began studying jewelry design when I was a student at the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr. It quickly became a great love of mine and I went on to study jewelry formally in college. I like pieces that are highly tactile, and sculptural: I want everything I carve to feel good on the body. I strive to make jewelry that has a "magical" quality to it, too; we need more enchantment in our daily lives. I'm also a Reiki Master, and I recently began studying Flamenco.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
They will find a big collection of sterling and bronze pieces hand-carved/sculpted by me with motifs such as vines, smoke, insects, flowers and set with precious and semi-precious stones. They will also find a smaller collection of pieces I've created using vintage findings. And scarves! Silk scarves I've hand-painted with very saturated, rich colors.

Where do you find your inspiration?
So many places. The Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements primarily, along with 70s Glam rock, ancient metal craft, and, as always, the natural world. A tremendous number of designs come to me in dreams.

Etsy, first and foremost! But I also love the Brooklyn Flea and the Antiques Garage Flea Market in Chelsea.

What possession do you most cherish?
My mother made me a spectacular, sheer, ankle-length tunic when I was a teenager- and I proceeded to wear it, steadily, for the next 17 years. I finally had to retire it last year, but I will never get rid of it. It is so beautiful, and was made with so much love. To me, it is one of the most marvelous things ever created.

The Farm Chicks & A More Personal Post

Today started with a 4 am wakeup call so I had time to review some new Clover seller applications while the rest of the house was quiet, the puppy was asleep, and my visiting relatives (we're on vacation together this week) woke up. I'll admit it... I was feeling grumpy, stressed, and a wee bit sorry for myself.

So what a wonderful surprise it was to get an email from Serena Williams from The Farm Chicks letting me know that the Clover story -- and a little bit of my story -- would be included as part of her new blog series on entrepreneurs called "Time to Shine".

Serena is a mom of 4, a blogger extraordinnaire, a successful entrepreneur (having her own hugely popular Farm Chicks antique show), and a Country Living Magazine contributing editor. A super amazing woman and kindhearted to boot!

As far as Clover is concerned, I've always been pretty happy staying behind the scenes. I was also a bit reluctant sharing so much of my personal story, especially about my thyroid cancer (which I haven't discussed publicly before), but for whatever reason I decided to mention it in my submission to Serena. I hit the send button on the email, and figured "what the heck, nobody will see this anyway". HA!

Clover has been a bright ray for me on some of my darker days. It has kept me motivated, focused, and engaged with the business of living. I am continually inspired and energized by my amazing sellers. They're passionate, creative, committed, and tenacious all on their own.

I love that my children have seen me busy and enthusiastic about this project. And more than anything, I love that they know that I stuck with it when things weren't looking so promising. Dig in, stay focused, and never give up. For this and lots of other things, too.

My name is Sarah Moan, its very nice to meet you. I hate getting up early and am sincerely disappointed when my body does not allow me to sleep late on the weekends. I can’t sit still and watch TV, much to my husband’s displeasure. I’m always knitting or writting up another pattern for a new design. I am slightly addicted to magazines and love reading just about anything.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
For the adults, Dools Handmade (named for my maiden name of Dooley and its subsequent nickname) has long slender hand-dyed wool scarves, chunky wide alpaca, wool and silk scarves, super-soft baby alpaca fingerless gloves, and adorable hats. For the kids, cuddly organic cotton baby blankets and coordinating hats, cotton and microfiber booties that stretch to fit on those tiny tootsies, and organic cotton sweaters. All handmade with only the finest of materials.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Color and texture a huge sources of inspiration for me. The juxtaposition of a silky yarn, next to a chunky wool is just awesome to me. Or taking a chunky yarn and knitting it up in a lace pattern, it looks so wrong, but is so right. I can also be a bit of a structure girl, so one of my go-to sources for ideas is Vogue Knitting’s Stitchionary. It is a collection of different knitting stitches. I flip through everytime I begin to design a new item. Do I like the look of this stitch with that one? Or what about a border combined with that stitch? The combinations are endless. Oh, and color! Just don't get me started there...

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
Etsy! You can find everything there! I shopped for a milk glass vases and wire baskets my wedding, not to mention the amazing jewelry that all of my bridesmaids wore. It is the perfect place for that special gift and I keep finding those interesting unique items you just can't live without.

What possession do you most cherish?

Okay, I’m a total sap. There is no denying it. My most cherished possession is actually a collection of possessions. It would have to be any and all notes, letters and cards I have ever gotten from my husband. The card that came with the Valentines flowers, the napkin note that was stuck in with my lunch, the birthday cards...I’ve got everyone since we started dating. Like I said, total sap.

I always find the "inspiration" question a tough one. I think when you're a creative person, you constantly have millions of ideas floating around in your brain. It's only a matter of time before one comes into focus and makes your day!

VIX Emporium on Baltimore Ave in West Philly is a great shop that showcases fabulous handmade items (many of them local). Though I say I can't afford it anymore, I still like to pop into Anthropologie and peruse their current jewelry. I'm dreaming about the day when I can see a piece of Penelope & Anastasia there. I've been yard sale-ing and thrift shopping since I was in the womb, and I guess it just stuck. It's a treasure hunt; you never know what you'll find!

What possession do you most cherish?

Besides my own 4 year old little girl, I would say the engagement ring I wear every day. It was given to my Grandmother Antoinette in June of 1926 by my Grandfather Casmir. I think of her looking down at it and smiling as I've done for the past 13 years.

Where do you find your inspiration?
We are inspired by our shared appreciation of the slightly aged, gently worn, and above all, the unique. We love Elle Decor magazine, Lonny online, flea markets, and our customers, who send us photos of their homes with new trove treasures.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop?
We love the Brooklyn Flea and all of the local flea markets and auction houses. Our re-upholsterer also finds us tons of old chairs and couches that need new lives, and we help reincarnate them, too.

What possession do you most cherish?
We'd all have our own opinions on this one, but my answer (Christine) is all of the art that our kids have produced over the years. They are ridiculously talented and I am running out of wall space at home!

Call for Volunteers

Hello everyone. I can't believe that our fall opening day (September 18th) is just under 5 short weeks away. Where has the summer gone?

I'm looking for some enthusiastic volunteers in late August/early September to help hand out posters and postcards to get the word out. Do you live in or frequent one of the many great neighboods in the area (Eastern and Western Main Line, Manayunk, Conshohocken, and Philly)?

As my way of saying thanks, you'll get one of our awesome new Clover Market t-shirts in tri-blend heather grey for a vintage feel and excellent durability and softness. We'll also be selling these at the Market.

Seller Profile: Baby Jives

Tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Jahje Bath Ives and I am an artist and mother living and running my company in Philadelphia. Before it was a company, Baby Jives was the nickname for our little one, then he was born and he got a real name. I had made a mobile for my son when I was in my "nesting" phase and many folks asked me where they could get one, so I made a few and opened my Etsy shop one short year ago. Since then it has been a whirlwind of activity.

What will shoppers find in your tent?
I create modern heirlooms inspired by nature. I believe the things we surround our children with should be as wonderful and imaginative as they are. With that in mind, I am trying to make a bit of magic that will last long after the crib is gone.

A mobile is often thought of as a baby item to be shortly outgrown but my works are meant to grow up with a child and hang in their room as a work of art that brings joy through the years. Every object is made by hand in my studio using contemporary and vintage designer fabrics, reclaimed natural materials, and a trusty old sewing machine.

Where do you find your inspiration?
My garden is a constant source of inspiration for me. Much of my work takes nature as a reference point and then I distill it down into the minimal forms that compose my works.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?
As a seller on Etsy I am constantly on there supporting other artists by indulging myself with purchases. I also adore The Little Apple and 3 Potato 4 in Manayunk, Art Star in Northern Liberties and love thrifting at different spots around the town.

What possession do you most cherish?
I can't narrow it down to less than 3. A painting that hangs in my dining room that my mother, Catherine Bath, made (she's an incredibly talented painter), a quilt that my grandmother made for me when I was a little girl which kept me warm for many years, and a blanket that one of my closest friends knit for my son when he was born, he came home from the hospital with it and still sleeps with it every night.

The Feast "Trading Card" Story

This week I did a fun interview with Julie Davis over at The Feast. Julie has been a big supporter of Clover, and I'm so thankful to her for the chance to get the word out about our upcoming season.

Julie started cool new series on the website called the Trading Card where where she puts together some basic profile information, favorite places to shop/eat/play in the area, and some questions about your "shop"...or in this case, my big "shop" full of other people's stuff!

This will be a recurring series about smaller boutique and store owners in the area which I just love. Julie, thanks or letting me be your guinea pig on this great new series.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Kaye Rachelle Designs consists of Susan Dreifuss and Bonnie Whitfield. We are two printmakers and friends who met while getting our MFAs in Printmaking at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. We design and screen print textiles for the home.

What will shoppers find in your tent?

Our tent will be full of our favorite linens (cloth napkins, pillows, placemats, tea towels, wall organizers and more). We will have just released our 2011 Fall/Winter line, Transported, so expect to see some new designs.

Where do you find your inspiration?

We love cities! We are constantly overwhelmed by the beautiful textures, shapes, and patterns of the city, and we create many of our designs from them.

Besides Clover, where is your favorite place to shop for art, antiques, vintage or handmade?

We love Etsy and PoppyTalk Handmade. Then again, we have also scored some pretty amazing things abandoned on the sidewalk.

What possession do you most cherish?

Besides our dogs, Bonnie loves her vintage flatfiles and card catalogues, whereas Susan adores her kitchenaid mixer and estate topaz ring.

I'm Michele Longo, originally from upstate NY but I've been living in Philly for the last four years. I studied fashion merchandising in college, but found my niche with vintage clothing and jewelry when I worked for a styling house in Manhattan. Since then I've been active in the antiques business, and love the hunt through a box of old jewelry. The Collected Collage is a vision of my passion for collecting antique jewelry and creating collage art.

A vibrant display of vintage and antique jewelry.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I'm inspired by colorful patterns, art nouveau designs, interesting fabric and paper, found objects, and the serenity of nature.

Larkspur Interiors was created by two lifelong friends (Kimberly McLaughlin and Denise Gordon) who share a love for all things old and vintage. After high school, life took us down separate paths, but we found each other again years later after God planted our families on the same street, Larkspur Circle, which inspired the name of our store.

We are moms in real life, but our passion is hunting for treasures. The goal of our store is to offer one-of-a-kind "found"pieces as seen in Pottery Barn and Ballard Designs, but without the high price tag.

What will shoppers find at your tent?
At our tent, you will be inspired by the rusty, chippy, worn and distressed furnishings to fill every room in your home. Our array of hand-painted furniture goes through an extensive process to give it an aged look. In addition, you will find a wide assortment of vintage accessories, including art, linens, advertising tins, galvanized pieces, farm crates, mason jars and much, much more.

Where do you get your inspiration?
Larkspur Interiors gets most of its inspiration from blogging. My Domestic Bliss is our home decor blog where nearly 1000 followers enjoy reading about our furniture transformations and DIY makeovers. In addition, we offer tips on decorating on a budget, no matter what your personal style, and how to spot great deals on Craig's List.

Our treasure-hunting travels involve mostly yard sales, flea markets, and
thrift stores, as well as auctions and estate sales.

What possession do you most cherish?
Among our most prized possessions, is an official MLB baseball signed by

pitcher, John Denny.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Stephanie Harkins and I'm a 36 year old "momma" to a beautiful little two year old girl and a naughty kitty cat and a wife to a supportive and cute husband. I am a vintage and antique junkie, always on the hunt looking for treasures.

My love for items from the past started when I was little and my parents were dragging me around to antique stores. I then decided at the ripe old age of 10 to open my own little shop in my playhouse located in my backyard. All the neighborhood kids would come there to shop!

What will shoppers find in your tent?
Shoppers will find vintage goods for themselves and their homes such as vintage linens, clothes, jewelry, and other vintage decorative accents.

Where do you find your inspiration?

My inspiration comes from old items that have a past and tell a story, old architecture, afternoon rides through the country, my husband and my mom.

I love to shop on Etsy. I also scour local flea markets, thrift stores, antique stores, yard sales and rummage sales. It's not below me to jump out of the car to grab something off the curb or go diving into a dumpster either!

What possession do you most cherish?
I most cherish my engagement and wedding rings, my McCoy Pottery collection of over 60 pieces, and an antique quilt that my great-grandmother made by hand.

One of the things I enjoy most about Clover is getting to know the talented and passionate people behind the items featured at the Market. I love playing a small part in supporting their artistic and entrepreneurial ventures, and I know that everyone who comes and shops at Clover does, too.

This fall, I thought it would be fun to put together some Seller Profiles to highlight this amazing group. I've had WAY too much fun reading these over the last few weeks - what an incredible group! The profiles will continue here through the fall so I hope you'll check back in here often. To kick off, I'm very happy to introduce the lovely Lisa Bruemmer from Tree & Kimball.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

I live in South Philly with my husband and pup, Atlas. I'm an ex-apparel designer for Anthropologie turned Etsy proprietess with a love for all things vintage and delicate. I love riding my bike all about town and wish that it could be summer year-round. I'm addicted to sunshine and cheese.

What will shoppers find in your tent?

They will find my hand-dyed, handmade lace jewelry mixed with Angela's (Greatest Friend) vintage apparel and accessories.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Anywhere and everywhere! My process begins with deciding on a new color palette for each collection - I keep my eyes open in my daily travels and commit to memory the shades that have so impressed me. And so, the lace hand-dyeing begins. It's trial and error, mad scientist style - mixing shades until I like what I see. I also love designing pieces with a certain loved one or friend in mind - it makes the finished product all the more special.

What possession do you most cherish?

A whitewashed cabinet that my grandfather made, now filled to the brim with my craft materials, and my childhood quilt, lovingly made by mother & grandmother.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who applied for the fall Clover Markets. We received our largest number of applications to date, and the decision-making process was very difficult this year.

I am beyond excited to share with you the group participating this fall. Many of our prior season sellers are returning, and we welcome a large new group as well. The word about Clover is most definitely out!

Are you interested in participating in next fall's Clover Markets (9/18, 10/16, and 11/6)? The deadline to receive our "early bird" discounts and for your best shot at a space is this coming Monday July 11th. After the 11th, applications will be considered on a space-available basis.

Sellers will be carefully selected based on product quality, fit with the Market aesthetic, and the overall mix of sellers. We strive to have a variety of products and will work to manage duplications and overall balance. We are specifically looking for sellers with:

Antique and collectibles - furniture, accessories, textiles, smalls
Original art and photography - all styles and media
High quality artisan crafts and handmade- all styles and media
New handmade jewelry - please note limited spaces
Up-cycled items and architectural salvage
Vintage clothing - designer and high quality non-designer
Vintage jewelry - or jewelry using vintage components

School's Out for the Summer!

What a great spring season for Clover it was. Three sold out Markets, a successful expansion into fine crafts and handmade items, wonderful support from our buyers and the community at large, and three beautiful weather weekends. I really couldn't ask for more than that!

After I take a little breather (and get my kids finished up with school) I'll get some more of my favorite photos and a more extensive recap posted soon, but in the meantime, feel free to head on over to our Flickr set for some of my unedited snapshots from the day.

Don't forget that our fall dates have been set: Sept. 18, Oct. 16, and Nov. 6 - same time, same place.

We're accepting applications to participate as a seller with early bird discounts through July 11th (just click on the Apply tab above), and after that, on a space-available basis. So if you're interested, please get your applications in as soon as possible - the application is online and takes just a few minutes to complete. Based on the applications we've received to date, I can tell you it's going to be another stellar Clover season next fall.
